These Terms of Service are an agreement between Orango Pte Ltd (“ShopDash”, “we”, “us”) and the person or entity using ShopDash (“you”). By installing, accessing, or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility and authority
You must be able to form a binding contract and have authority to connect the Shopify store you submit. You are responsible for your account, authorized staff, and all activity under your installation.
2. The service
ShopDash provides catalog intelligence, AI-assisted sales and support capabilities, analytics, and merchant-controlled workflows. Features may change as the private beta develops. Beta functionality may be incomplete, interrupted, or changed without notice.
3. Merchant responsibilities
- Use ShopDash lawfully and in accordance with Shopify’s policies.
- Provide appropriate notices and obtain required permissions from customers and staff.
- Review AI output and proposed actions before relying on them where human judgment is appropriate.
- Keep account credentials secure and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
- Do not use the service to create harmful, deceptive, illegal, infringing, or discriminatory content.
4. AI output and merchant control
AI output can be incomplete or incorrect. ShopDash is designed to ground responses in authorized store information and gate sensitive actions, but you remain responsible for customer communications, store policies, and decisions made using the service. ShopDash does not provide legal, tax, financial, or medical advice.
5. Fees
Private beta access is currently provided without charge unless otherwise agreed in writing. Before paid billing begins, we will present the applicable plan, usage allowance, and payment terms for acceptance through Shopify or another disclosed billing method. Displayed future pricing is indicative until accepted at checkout.
6. Data and intellectual property
You retain ownership of your store data and content. You grant us the limited rights necessary to process that data to provide, secure, and improve ShopDash. We retain all rights in ShopDash, including software, models, design, and documentation. Feedback may be used without restriction or compensation.
7. Confidentiality
Each party will use reasonable care to protect non-public information received from the other and will use it only for the relationship, except where disclosure is required by law.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using ShopDash and uninstall the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for security risk, unlawful use, material breach, non-payment when billing exists, or to protect Shopify, merchants, customers, or the service.
9. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, beta services are provided “as is” and “as available”. We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, particular commercial results, or error-free AI output.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages. Our aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of SGD 100 or amounts you paid us during the three months before the event giving rise to liability. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. The courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
12. Contact and changes
Questions may be sent to legal@shopdash.ai. We may update these Terms and will provide reasonable notice of material changes. Continued use after an update becomes effective constitutes acceptance.
